Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 16/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of Perth will move eastwards to be centred over the Bight this evening. The high will move slowly southeastward during Wednesday and Thursday. A weak troughs will move over the far south of the State during Wednesday morning.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers about the agricultural area most likely about coasts and ranges. The chance of isolated showers developing west of Ernabella to Marla to Nullarbor during the evening. Light to moderate southeast to southwest winds.Wednesday 17 SeptemberPossible early morning frost patches about the Flinders and Mid North districts and central Eyre Peninsula. Morning for in the west. Slight chance of showers about the southern agricultural area and far southwest of the Flinders district, more likely about southern coasts and ranges. Slight chance of showers northwest of Coober Pedy. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the north. Mainly moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 18 SeptemberEarly morning frost in the south. Slight chance of showers west of a line Ceduna to Oodnadatta. Slight chance of showers about southern coasts and ranges. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh northeast to southeasterly winds in the west, light to moderate southeast to southwesterly in the east.Friday 19 SeptemberEarly morning frost in the south. Slight chance of showers about the Lower South East coast. Slight chance of showers northwest of about Fowlers Bay to Moomba. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Saturday 20 September
Early morning frost on and east of the ranges. The chance of showers in the far north of the State, contracting east and clearing late evening. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to easterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday afternoon until midnight Saturday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm.
Sunday until TuesdayFine. Generally mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, fresh at times in the west on Tuesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Wednesday.Product IDS10033
