Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 25/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the southeast of the State will merge with a stronger high over the Tasman Sea, extending a ridge of high pressure over South Australia for the most of the week.
Forecast for the rest of MondayPossible isolated light showers over the southern Lower South East coast. Morning fog and frost about agricultural areas. Warm in the north and west, mild over the remainder. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 26 AugustPossible morning fog and frost over agricultural areas, then a fine day. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Wednesday 27 AugustPossible frost patches, mainly about Eyre Peninsula and the Flinders district. Morning fog patches about Kangaroo Island and east of the ranges, otherwise fine. Mild to warm with light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds.Thursday 28 August
Fine apart from possible morning fog about Kangaroo Island and the southeast. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday morning to midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 1 mm near the Lower South East coast, all occurring Monday morning.
Friday until SundayFine and mild to warm with northerly winds freshening ahead of a milder southerly wind change on Sunday bringing a chance of showers to southern and western districts.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Monday.Product IDS10033
