Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 12/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation

This trough will gradually deepen over the next day or two in response to an upper-level system stalled over SA, with a low pressure system likely to form within it on Friday. Rain is expected to develop in the northwest as this system develops, becoming more widespread across most inland districts during Friday and Saturday. On Saturday the low and trough are expected to become more mobile, shifting slowly towards the southeast with rain extending to coastal districts. Conditions are forecast to ease in most areas during Sunday as the trough reaches the coast and weak ridge moves across from the west.
