Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 8/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over southern NSW is resulting in generally fine and mostly sunny conditions. The high will move east across NSW overnight and into the Tasman Sea on Saturday. A cold front will cross southern and central parts of the state on Sunday and northeastern districts on Monday with a south to southeasterly airstream to follow for the most of next week.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPossible isolated showers about the northern half of the coast, more likely in the far north. Chiefly light winds, though moderate to fresh southerly on the north coast. Dangerous surf conditions developing along southern and central parts of the coast.Saturday 9 AugustIsolated showers about the far north coast and adjacent ranges. Fine elsewhere. Areas of morning frost and fog. Northwest to northeasterly winds. Dangerous surf conditions, easing in the south.Sunday 10 AugustIsolated showers in the southeast, more likely about the south coast and ranges. Light to moderate and variable winds turning southerly in the south and west, fresh to strong along the coast.Monday 11 AugustIsolated showers along the north and central coasts and possibly adjacent ranges, more scattered about the Mid North Coast and possibly extending to the South Coast. Fine west of the ranges. South to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 12 AugustShowers along the coast and on the adjacent ranges, less frequent in the south. The chance of further isolated showers in central and northern inland districts. Fine in the southern inland and far west.
