Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 3/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough is developing over northern inland of New South Wales while a high strong pressure system over southeastern Australia extends a ridge across the remainder of the state. The ridge will be dominant synoptic feature over the next few with only a weak cold front expected to move through southeast of the state during Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges. The chance of showers over the northern inland, chiefly near the Queensland border. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Widespread morning frost. Light and variable winds in the south. East to southeast winds in the north.Tuesday 5 AugustIsolated showers on the far north coast and adjacent ranges. The chance of showers over the northern inland, chiefly near the Queensland border. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Morning frost areas inland. Southwest to southeast winds.Wednesday 6 AugustIsolated showers possible on the north coast and about the western slopes of the southern ranges later. Mostly clear remainder. Morning frost areas inland. West to northwest winds, freshening about parts of the southeast.Thursday 7 AugustIsolated showers about inland parts of the southeast and along the coastal fringe.
