Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 3/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over eastern Victoria is moving eastwards. Another high to the west of Perth is moving eastwards and will be centred over the south of South Australia by mid-week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from possible isolated showers over the far west of the West Coast District. A cold to very cold evening with frost patches developing inland late evening. Light winds.Monday 4 AugustA cold to very cold morning with widespread areas of frost. Fine apart from possible isolated showers developing northeast of Moomba. Cool during the day with mainly light winds.Tuesday 5 AugustA cold to very cold morning with widespread areas of frost, except in the far northeast and near southern coasts. Isolated showers developing over the South East district, Kangaroo Island and southern Fleurieu Peninsula and also northeast of about Moomba. A cool to mild day with light to moderate southeasterly winds, tending westerly in the south.Wednesday 6 AugustFine apart from isolated showers near southern coasts and over the South East district. A cold morning with areas of frost, chiefly over the northern agricultural area and Pastoral and Flinders districts. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending west to northwesterly in the south during the morning.Thursday 7 August
The chance of isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, clearing in the evening. A cold morning over the northern agricultural area and Pastoral and Flinders districts with areas of frost. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north with mainly light winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon to midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 2 mm over the far west of the West Coast district, the southern agricultural area and also northeast of about Moomba.
Friday until SundayThe chance of showers near the Lower South East coast, extending over the southern agricultural area on Saturday and Sunday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Monday.Product IDS10033
