Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 3/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system lies over southeastern Australia. As the high weakens, a weak cold front will cross New South Wales during Wednesday and Thursday follow by another strong high moving over the state on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers on the northern half of the coast and adjacent ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Widespread morning frost. Light to moderate southeast to southerly winds, fresh on the north coast.Monday 4 AugustIsolated showers on the northern coast and adjacent ranges. The chance of showers over the northern inland, chiefly near the Queensland border. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Widespread morning frost inland. Light and variable winds in the south. East to southeast winds in the north.Tuesday 5 AugustIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges. The chance of showers over the northern inland, chiefly near the Queensland border. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Morning frost areas inland. Southwest to southeast winds.Wednesday 6 AugustIsolated showers possible on the north coast. Mostly clear remainder. Morning frost areas inland.
