Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 2/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near Adelaide is moving eastwards and will be centred over Victoria tonight. The high will remain over Victoria as weak frontal systems pass to the south during the week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers on and south of the ranges, mainly near the coast, clearing overnight. Fine elsewhere. Light to moderate southwesterly winds.Sunday 3 AugustVery cold at first with widespread severe frosts inland and fog patches. A fine and sunny afternoon throughout. Cool to cold with light and variable winds.Monday 4 AugustVery cold at first with widespread inland frost and fog patches. A fine, cool and sunny day with light and variable winds.Tuesday 5 AugustMorning inland frost and fog patches. A fine day except for the chance of light showers about the west coast and the South Gippsland coast. A cool and mostly sunny day light westerly winds.Wednesday 6 AugustMorning inland frost and fog patches. Isolated showers on and south of the ranges, falling as snow above 1600 metres.
