Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 2/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high near the eastern border is moving eastwards. Another high to the west of Perth is moving eastwards and will be centred over the south of South Australia by mid week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine apart from isolated showers about Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu Peninsula, and the Lower South East district, clearing by evening. Becoming cold to very cold during the evening with frost patches developing late evening over eastern districts. Light winds.Sunday 3 AugustFine apart from possible isolated afternoon showers over the far west of the West Coast District. A cold to very cold morning with widespread areas of frost. Cool during the day with light winds.Monday 4 AugustFine apart from possible isolated showers developing northeast of Moomba. A cold to very cold morning with widespread areas of frost. Cool during the day with mainly light winds tending southeasterly later.Tuesday 5 AugustA cold to very cold morning with areas of frost, except in the far northeast. Isolated showers developing over the South East district, Kangaroo Island and southern Fleurieu Peninsula and also northeast of about Marree. A cool to mild day with light to moderate southeasterly winds, tending west to southwesterly in the south.Wednesday 6 August
Fine apart from isolated showers over the South East district, Kangaroo Island and southern Fleurieu Peninsula. A cold morning with areas of frost, chiefly over the northern agricultural area and Pastoral and Flinders districts. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending west to northwesterly in the south during the morning.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday afternoon to midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm over the far west of the West Coast district, the South East district, Kangaroo Island and southern Fleurieu Peninsula, and also northeast of about Marree.
Thursday until SaturdayThe chance of isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to the Lower South East on Friday and Saturday. Fine over the remainder apart from the chance of isolated showers in the far northwest on Saturday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
