Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 25/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low over western Bass Strait will weaken as it moves eastwards to be centred over the southern Tasman Sea by tonight. A high pressure ridge over the north of the State will move slowly eastwards during the weekend and early next week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated light showers about southeast clearing during the afternoon. Morning fog. Morning frost, mainly north of the agricultural area. Cool to mild. Light to moderate north to northwesterly winds, tending light an variable in the northeast.Sunday 27 JulyFine. Early morning frost, mainly about the Flinders and southern parts of the Pastoral districts. Possible morning fog on and east of the ranges. Cool to mild with moderate northerly winds.Monday 28 JulyFine apart from possible showers about southern coasts. Cool to mild in the south, mild to warm in the north. Light to moderate northwesterly winds, freshening about the coasts.Tuesday 29 July
Isolated showers about the southern coasts extending northwards over much of the southern agricultural area by the end of the day. Showers increasing to scattered showers about the southern coasts later in the day. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild in the south, mild to warm in the north. Light to moderate northwesterly winds, becoming fresh to strong about the coasts.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning to midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than to 5 mm, reaching 5 to 15 mm about southern coasts and Mount Lofty Ranges.
Wednesday until FridayA significant cold front is expected to move over the southern parts of the State later next week resulting in very windy conditions and a very high change of showers over the south, grading to a slight chance of showers over southern parts of the Flinders and Pastoral districts.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
