MELBOURNE - Jul 20/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A strong high pressure system over western Victoria will drift slowly eastwards across the rest of the State during today, Monday and Tuesday before moving out over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A low pressure system will cross the Bight on Wednesday and will be weakening as it gradually moves over Victoria during Thursday. Forecast for the rest of SundayPatchy fog developing over central and eastern districts, otherwise fine. Rather cold and partly cloudy with light winds.Monday 21 JulyMorning frosts in the northeast. Patchy morning fog then a dry day with areas of high cloud. Cool to cold with light winds.Tuesday 22 JulyMorning frost and fog patches then fine and mainly sunny. Light winds tending northerly.Wednesday 23 JulyMorning frost and fog patches in the east. A generally fine and cool day with cloud increasing. Isolated showers possible in the west later. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds.Thursday 24 JulyPatchy rain, more extensive about the dividing range.
