Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 18/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near southern coasts will move slowly southeastwards to be centred east of Tasmania on Monday. A low pressure trough will move into the west of the State on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPossible isolated light showers about the southern coasts of Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East. A cool to cold evening with light southeast to easterly winds.Saturday 19 JulyCold early with frosts, except in the west. Possible isolated light showers about Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East. A cool to cold day with light winds, becoming moderate northeast to northerly in the west.Sunday 20 JulyPossible isolated showers about the Nullarbor Plain. Cold in the east with morning frost patches. A cool day with light to moderate northeast to northerly winds.Monday 21 JulyPossible isolated showers developing about the West Coast district, Eyre and Yorke Peninsulas and Kangaroo Island. Cold early with morning frost about central and eastern parts then a cool day with light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds.Tuesday 22 July
Isolated showers developing west of about Coober Pedy to Ceduna. Cool with light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds, fresh at times in the west.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon to midnight Tuesday are expected to be generally less than 1 mm.
Wednesday until FridayShowers developing over the southern agricultural area, with the chance of showers extending further north into the south of the Pastoral and Flinders districts. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north. Mainly moderate northwest to southwesterly winds, fresh to strong at times near the coasts.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
