Weather Situation A high over South Australia extends a ridge across southern inland Queensland, producing a dry, cool air flow across most of Queensland. A trough will move off the southeast Queensland coast overnight into Monday morning, producing an increase in winds, but no rainfall. Forecast for the rest of SundayFine and sunny across the state. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 7 JulyFine and sunny across the state. Widespread morning frost over the southern half of the state, and also over parts of the northern interior.Tuesday 8 JulyA ridge of high pressure over southern Queensland will keep the state fine and sunny. Widespread morning frost over the southern half of the state, and also over parts of the northern interior.Wednesday 9 JulyA cold front will move across Queensland, producing gusty westerly winds and a new influx of cool, dry air across the southern districts. It should remain fine and sunny across the state. Areas of frost over the central interior and southeast interior.Thursday 10 JulyA new high pressure system should maintain fine and dry conditions across most of the state. Widespread morning frosts over the interior.Friday until SundayA large, slow moving high pressure system over southern Australia should maintain fine conditions across most of the state. Late in the period, winds will tend a little more onshore about the east coast, and a few light showers may return to more exposed parts.
