Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 6/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1025 hPa is centred over the north of the State and a weak front will move over the southeast this morning. A more significant front will move across the west on Tuesday, then remaining parts on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayScattered showers south of about Minlaton to Lameroo in the morning, with isolated showers over the rest of the agricultural area, the Flinders and south of the Northeast Pastoral districts, contracting eastwards during the afternoon and clearing throughout by evening. Possible thunder about Kangaroo Island and coastal parts of the South East during the early morning. Early frost patches over the Pastoral and Flinders districts. Early fog patches over Eastern Eyre Peninsula, far south of the Northwest Pastoral, Flinders and Mid-North districts. Cool to mild with mainly light winds tending moderate northwest to southwest about central parts.Monday 7 JulyPossible isolated showers developing over Lower Eyre Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East in the afternoon or evening. Mild with moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds.Tuesday 8 JulyScattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms extending over western and southern coasts. Isolated showers extending from the west over the rest of the agricultural area and possibly over the south of the Pastorals. Mild with fresh north to northwesterly winds, turning colder westerly in the west, strong at times near the coasts. Possible small hail over the West Coast district in the evening.Wednesday 9 July
Widespread showers and possible isolated thunderstorms about southern and western coasts, grading to isolated showers over the northern agricultural area and far south of the pastorals. Possible small hail in parts. Cool with fresh to strong northwest to southwesterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning to midnight Wednesday are expected to be up to 5 mm about the far west coast, the northern agricultural area and far southern parts of the Pastoral districts, 5 to 15 mm over the southern agricultural area and local falls of 15 to 30mm about southern coasts and ranges and the west coast of Eyre Peninsula.
Thursday until SaturdayA very high chance of showers over the southern agricultural area, grading to a slight chance over the northern agricultural area, then easing to a slight chance of a coastal shower on Saturday. Cool with fresh to strong northwest to southwesterly winds, becoming light to moderately westerly on Saturday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
