Weather Situation A high should drift eastwards across central Australia over the next few days. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine, dry and sunny across the state except for some isolated light showers about the northeast coast. Moderate southeast to southwest winds, gusty at times about the southeast of the state.Thursday 26 JuneFine, dry and sunny across the state except for some isolated light showers about the northeast coast. Widespread early frost through the central and southern interior districts. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh at times about the northern districts.Friday 27 JuneThe ridge should weaken though it should remain fine, dry and sunny across the state except for some isolated showers about the northeast coast. Widespread early frost through the southern and central interior.Saturday 28 JuneA new ridge of high pressure will push a cool and gusty southwest wind change across the southern interior. Fine, dry and sunny over the western and most of the northern districts except for some isolated showers about the northeast coast. Mainly isolated showers over the southeast quarter of the state as moisture builds a little ahead of the southwest wind change.Sunday 29 JuneThe ridge should strengthen over the Great Australian Bight, pushing dry air across most of Queensland. Fine and sunny across the state except for some isolated showers over the northeast coast.
