Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 16/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the WA-SA border will move slowly eastwards across South Australia, then over Victoria on Thursday. A cold front is expected to move over agricultural areas on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated light showers or drizzle about the coasts and ranges easing during the evening. Possible late evening fog over inland agricultural areas. Cool with light to moderate southeast to southwesterly winds, becoming light and variable overnight.Tuesday 17 JunePossible isolated light showers or drizzle about the coasts and ranges early morning. Areas of morning fog, mainly over agricultural areas and southern parts of the Pastoral districts. Cool to mild with light and variable winds, turning northeast to northerly over the north and west of the State.Wednesday 18 JuneCool to cold at first with areas of morning frost and possible fog over the South East districts. Fine afternoon. Cool to mild with light winds becoming light to moderate northeast to northerly during the afternoon.Thursday 19 JuneEarly morning frost patches, mainly about the Flinders district. Possible isolated showers developing about the western coast of Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island during the evening. Cool to mild with mainly moderate north to northwesterly winds shifting westerly in the west during the afternoon and evening.Friday 20 June
Scattered showers extending over southern coasts and ranges with isolated showers extending over remaining parts of the agricultural area, possibly reaching the southern parts of the pastoral districts. Generally cool, grading to mild in the north. Freshening northwesterly winds ahead of a moderate to fresh southwesterly change.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday afternoon through to midnight Friday are expected to be less than 2 mm, increasing to 2 to 5 mm about agricultural areas and 5 to 15 mm about southern coasts and ranges and the southeastern districts.
Saturday until MondayIsolated showers over agricultural areas, possibly extending into the southern parts of the Pastoral districts at times. Generally cool with moderate winds varying between southwesterly and northwesterly.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
