Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 14/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low 1010 hPa over southern New South Wales is moving eastwards. A high 1032 hPa over the southwest of Western Australia will move slowly eastwards to be centred over South Australia on Monday and Tuesday. A front will move across southern coastal districts during Monday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and the south and west of the pastoral districts, tending scattered in the morning about coastal parts east of Coffin Bay and southern ranges. Cool with moderate to fresh south to southwest winds, strong at first about southern coasts and Gulf coasts.Sunday 15 JuneScattered showers about southern coasts and western coasts south of about Elliston during the morning. Isolated showers otherwise over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts. Cool with light to moderate west to southwest winds, tending southerly in the north.Monday 16 JuneIsolated early fog about western and central districts. Scattered showers about southern coastal districts. Isolated showers over the remainder of the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh northwest to southwest winds, tending light to moderate southerly inland.Tuesday 17 June
Isolated early fog about western and central districts. Isolated showers about the southern agricultural area clearing during the evening. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds in the east turning moderate northeasterly in the west.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning to midnight Tuesday are expected to be 2 to 10 mm over the agricultural area, increasing to 10 to 15 mm near southern coasts. Less than 2 mm is expected over the remainder of the State.
Wednesday until FridayFine on Wednesday. Isolated showers developing about western coasts later on Thursday then extending across the southern agricultural area on Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
