Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 8/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of Kangaroo Island will move slowly southeastwards over the next few days. A front is expected to move over the west of the State later in the week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayMostly clear. Possible fog patches developing late evening over Eyre Peninsula. Cool with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Monday 9 JuneFine. A cold morning with areas of frost. Possible morning fog patches. Mostly mild with light to moderate east to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 10 JuneA cold morning with areas of frost. A fine day throughout. Cool to mild. Light to moderate northeasterly winds.Wednesday 11 JunePossible early morning frost. Isolated showers developing about the western border during the afternoon and evening. Cool to mild with mainly light to moderate northerly winds, shifting southwesterly in the west during the afternoon and evening.Thursday 12 June
Isolated showers developing about southern coasts and the West Coast district, possibly extending as far north as Tarcoola to Clare to Lameroo by the end of the day. Generally mild with mostly light and variable winds, shifting south to southeasterly about coastal areas during the day.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon to midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 2 mm south of Tarcoola to Clare to Lameroo, increasing 2 to 5 mm closer to the coasts.
Friday until SundayPossible showers extending over much of the State on Friday, then contracting to the northeast and clearing. Isolated showers persisting about the southern agricultural area, easing later in the period. Cool to mild with moderate southerly winds extending throughout on Friday, turning southeasterly during the weekend.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Monday.Product IDS10033
