Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 7/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high just west of Kangaroo Island will move slowly southeastwards over the next few days. A front is expected to move over the west of the State later next week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayPossible isolated showers about southern coasts and ranges. Cool to cold overnight with light southeasterly winds tending easterly over the western part of the State.Sunday 8 JuneEarly morning fog over the agricultural area. Early morning frost patches, mainly about the Flinders Ranges. Possible isolated light morning showers about southern coasts. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Monday 9 JuneA cold morning with areas of frost mainly on and east of the ranges. Possible early morning fog patches, then a fine day throughout. Mostly mild with light to moderate northeast to northerly winds.Tuesday 10 JuneA cold morning with areas of frost mainly on and east of the ranges, then a fine day throughout. Cool to mild. Light to moderate northeasterly winds.Wednesday 11 June
Isolated showers developing about the western border during the afternoon and evening. Cool to mild with mainly light to moderate northerly winds, shifting southwesterly in the west during the afternoon and evening.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday afternoon to midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm near southern coasts this weekend, and less than 2 mm along the western border on Wednesday.
Thursday until SaturdayPossible showers extending across South Australia late next week, contracting to the northeast and southern coasts later in the period. Cool to mild. Southwest to southeasterly winds extending throughout.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
