Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 6/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1036 hPa just west of Kangaroo Island will move slowly southeastwards over the next few days. A weak front will move over the southeast of the State on today. A more significant front is expected to move over the west of the State mid next week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayEarly morning fog over the agricultural area and West Coast district. Possible isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, more likely about southern coasts and ranges. Cool to mild with moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending easterly in the far west.Sunday 8 JuneEarly morning fog over the agricultural area. Patchy light frost on the Flinders Ranges. Possible isolated morning showers about southern coasts. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Monday 9 JuneA cold morning with areas of frost on and east of the ranges. Possible early morning fog patches over Eyre Peninsula and east of the Mt Lofty Ranges, then a fine day throughout. Mostly mild with light to moderate northeast to northerly winds.Tuesday 10 JuneA cold morning with areas of frost on and east of the ranges, then a fine day throughout. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning to midnight Tuesday are expected to be up to 2 mm near southern coasts and less than 1 mm over the remainder of the southern agricultural area.Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers developing west of Nullarbor during Wednesday then extending to southern and western coasts on Thursday with possible isolated showers extending over parts south of about Renmark to Whyalla. Isolated showers developing about the Northeast pastoral district during Thursday afternoon and evening then becoming more likely on Friday. Cool to mild with mainly light to moderate southerly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
