Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 4/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system north of the Bight is slowly moving east strengthening a ridge across New South Wales. This high will be position over southeastern Australia on Sunday and it is expected to remain a very slow moving for the next few days.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated morning showers near the central coastal fringe. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeast and generally light winds.Thursday 5 JuneIsolated coastal showers and the chance of showers inland near the Victorian border. Partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds.Friday 6 JuneIsolated showers along the coast, scattered along central parts of the coast, with the chance of showers extending to the adjacent ranges. Partly cloudy inland. South to southeasterly winds.Saturday 7 JuneIsolated showers on the Alps with snow showers above around 1600m. Isolated showers along the central and northern coast and adjacent ranges. Southwest to southeast winds.Sunday 8 JuneIsolated showers coast and adjacent ranges. Partly cloudy inland.
