Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 3/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system east of Tasmania is moving southeast and should weaken during today as a high pressure ridge builds across southeast Australia.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated morning showers or drizzle over the southwest slopes and southern Alps. Isolated showers developing over the far northeast and the central and south coasts late in the day. Chance of light showers over the southern inland during the afternoon. Dry and partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeast and generally light winds.Thursday 5 JuneIsolated showers along parts of the coast and adjacent ranges, and the chance of showers inland near the Victorian border. Partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds.Friday 6 JuneIsolated showers along the coast, scattered along central parts of the coast, with the chance of showers extending to the adjacent ranges. South to southeasterly winds.Saturday 7 JuneShowers over the southeast corner, falling as snow showers above around 1600m. Isolated showers along the central and northern coast and adjacent ranges, more scattered along the north coast. Southwest to southeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Wednesday.Product IDN10031
