Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 31/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weakening low over central South Australia will move southeastwards to be over western Victoria by early Sunday morning. A high will move over South Australia during Sunday and remain the dominant feature for the week ahead.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayScattered afternoon and early evening showers mostly concentrated about about central districts. Isolated showers over remaining areas southeast of about Elliston to Marree and about the western coast, except for the lower South East district. Isolated thunderstorms mostly over the Flinders, Mid North and southern North East Pastoral districts, gradually clearing early evening. Cool to mild with mainly light winds turning southeast to southwesterly this evening and overnight.Sunday 1 JuneIsolated showers mainly over the agricultural area and western coast, increasing to scattered showers about the eastern border South of about Renmark. Scattered morning showers are also expected over the far north of Yorke Peninsula and southwest corner of the Flinders district. Showers gradually easing and contracting to the southeast later in the day. Areas of morning fog. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeast to southwesterly winds.Monday 2 JuneIsolated showers about the Mount Lofty Ranges and the South East districts clearing in the evening. Areas of early morning fog south of about Coober Pedy. Generally mild with light to moderate south to southwesterly winds, tending light and variable in the northwest.Tuesday 3 JuneEarly morning areas of fog over southern agricultural areas. Isolated showers developing south of Port Lincoln to Naracoorte during the afternoon and evening, possibly reaching a line Cummins to Keith by midnight. Cool to mild with mainly light winds.Wednesday 4 June
Isolated showers possible south of about Streaky Bay to Nuriootpa to Lameroo until evening, otherwise fine. Cool to mild with mainly light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday evening to midnight Wednesday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, increasing to 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts and ranges. Less than 2 mm over the remainder.
