U.S. National Weekly Rice Summary

LITTLE ROCK - May 27/14 - SNS -- The latest weekly rice market summary for the United States was released by the USDA today.

                             Domestic Trend
   In the south, long and medium grain rice prices steady; parboiled prices steady;
second heads and brewers steady.  Rice by-products:  rice bran steady; rice millfeed
steady; hulls steady with limited available sales.  Rough rice prices steady.
   In California, medium and short grain milled rice prices steady; second heads
prices steady; brewers steady.  Rice by-products: rice bran prices steady; hulls
steady.
   On the CME closes for Friday May 23rd, Rough Rice futures for July 2014 settled
.075 lower at 15.245.  The September 2014 contract settled .02 lower at 14.48.  The
November 2014 contract closed .005 lower at 14.585.
