Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 25/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system will cross Bight waters on Monday and an associated cold front will move across Victoria on Tuesday. Another low pressure system will develop over the Bight on Wednesday but will remain to the west of Adelaide on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from isolated showers in the far east. Partly cloudy with light to moderate north to northwesterly winds.Monday 26 MayEarly fog patches over the east. Isolated showers over the southwest but dry elsewhere. A mild day with light to moderate northerly winds freshening in southwestern and central areas.Tuesday 27 MayA band of rain crossing the State with scattered showers to follow. Isolated thunderstorms. Mild with moderate to fresh northerly winds, strong about elevated areas, tending northwesterly during the day.Wednesday 28 MayEarly rain in the east. Isolated showers otherwise, contracting to the ranges and the southwest during the evening. Snow falls possible above 1700 metres. A cool to mild day mainly moderate northwesterly winds.Thursday 29 MayIsolated showers, mainly over the southwest and ranges. A cool to mild day with a light to moderate northwesterly wind.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EST Monday.Product IDV10310
