Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 20/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A near stationary high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is extending a ridge across New South Wales. A weak cool change will move across the southeast tonight, before the ridge becomes reestablished over the entire state for the remainder of the week.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers in the southeastern inland, tending scattered about the southern Alps. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwest winds turning southwest in the south later.Wednesday 21 MayIsolated showers on the southern Alps. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northeast to northwest winds in the west, with south to southwest winds extending along the coast.Thursday 22 MayIsolated showers on the far north coast and on the eastern Alps. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northeast to northwest winds.Friday 23 MayIsolated showers in the northeast, and also along the southern border. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwest winds.Saturday 24 MayThe chance of showers on the western slopes of the southern and central ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
