MELBOURNE - May 18/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high over the Tasman Sea will move slowly east during the coming week. A weak front will move over the southeast of the State on Tuesday, followed by another high which will move steadily east to be centred over the eastern states by later Wednesday. Forecast for the rest of SundayPartly cloudy. Isolated showers south and west of line about Ernabella to Ceduna to Naracoorte. Possible afternoon showers about the Flinders Ranges. Generally warm with light to moderate northerly winds.Monday 19 MayIsolated showers, apart from over the North East Pastoral north of Yunta. Possible isolated thunderstorms over the North West Pastoral to the west of Coober Pedy. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds.Tuesday 20 MayIsolated showers, scattered in the Lower South East in the morning, mostly clearing during the evening. Possible isolated thunderstorms over the North West Pastoral till evening. Mild in the south grading to warm in the north. Light to moderate northerly winds, shifting southwest to southeasterly over the agricultural area during the day, and over the remainder in the evening.Wednesday 21 MayFine apart from isolated showers developing west of about Ceduna to Ernabella in the afternoon. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning to midnight Wednesday are expected to be mostly less than 2 mm, with isolated falls of 2 to 5 mm.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers gradually extending from the west to be throughout on Saturday.
