Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 17/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong,high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge across New South Wales. This high will remain semi-stationary over the next few days and as a result, cold fronts crossing the Southern Ocean during this time are expected to have little or no effect on on state's weather as they slip away to the southeast past Tasmania.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers on the far north coast and adjacent slopes. Morning fog and frost patches mainly on the tablelands. Mostly sunny elsewhere. East to southeasterly winds in the northeast of the state, northeast to northwesterly winds elsewhere.Sunday 18 MayFine apart from isolated showers about the far north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Northeast to northwesterly winds.Monday 19 MayIsolated showers on the far north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Northwest to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 20 MayIsolated showers on the far north coast and the chance showers on the Alps. Mostly sunny elsewhere.
