MELBOURNE - May 15/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge across central New South Wales, and is expected to move only very slowly during the coming week. As a result, cold fronts crossing the Southern Ocean during this time will have little or no effect on New South Wales as they slip away to the southeast past Tasmania. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers on the far north coast Queensland border. Mostly clear elsewhere. East to southeasterly winds in the northeast of the state, northeast to northwesterly winds elsewhere.Friday 16 MayIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent slopes tending scattered on the coastal fringe in the far north. Morning fog and frost patches, mainly on the tablelands. Mostly sunny elsewhere. East to southeasterly winds in the northeast of the state, northeast to northwesterly winds elsewhere.Saturday 17 MayIsolated showers on the far north coast and adjacent slopes.
