Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 15/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Tasman Sea, will remain near stationary for the remainder of the week.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayThe chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms about the West Coast district until mid-evening. Generally mild overnight with light to moderate northerly winds.Friday 16 MayPartly cloudy about the coastal areas with possible isolated showers south of line about Fowlers Bay, Tumby Bay, Cape Jervis to Naracoorte. Fine and mostly sunny in the north. Possible early morning fog patches over the Lower South East district. Mild to warm with moderate northerly winds, fresh at times over agricultural areas.Saturday 17 MayPartly cloudy about the coastal areas with possible isolated showers south of line about Nullarbor, Port Lincoln, Cape Jervis to Naracoorte. Fine and mostly sunny in the north. Generally warm with light to moderate northerly winds.Sunday 18 MayPartly cloudy about the coastal areas with possible isolated showers south of line about Nullarbor, Port Lincoln, Aldinga to Keith. Possible afternoon showers about the Flinders Ranges. Mostly sunny across the north. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds.Monday 19 MayPossible isolated showers with a band of cloud stretching from the northwest corner of the state to the southeast corner. Mostly sunny over the North East Pastoral district. Mild to warm with moderate northerly winds, ahead of a southerly wind change in the far west during the day. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday afternoon to midnight Monday are expected to be mostly less than 2 mm.Tuesday until ThursdayFine and mostly sunny over the North East Pastoral district. Otherwise, high cloud at times with possible isolated showers. Mild to warm conditions with light to moderate northerly winds persisting throughout the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Friday.Product IDS10033
