Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 14/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge across central New South Wales, and is expected to move only very slowly during the coming week. As a result, cold fronts crossing the Southern Ocean during this time will have little or no effect on New South Wales as they slip away to the southeast past Tasmania.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers on the north coast, tending scattered along the coastal fringe near the Queensland border. Areas of morning fog in the east, particularly on the tablelands. Early frost patches on the ranges. Otherwise fine and mostly sunny, with mild afternoon temperatures. East to southeasterly winds in the northeast of the state, northeast to northwesterly winds elsewhere.Friday 16 MayIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent slopes, scattered on the coastal fringe near the Queensland border. Morning fog and frost patches in the east, mainly on the tablelands. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere, with mild afternoon temperatures.
