Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 14/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1030 hPa over the Tasman Sea, will remain near stationary for the remainder of the week.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayEarly morning fog patches over the West Coast and southern parts of the Northwest Pastoral district. Areas of cloud with possible isolated morning showers over parts of the Northwest Pastoral, Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and the Mid North. The chance of thunderstorms developing over the West Coast district this afternoon. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds.Friday 16 MayEarly morning fog patches over the southeast, then a fine and mostly sunny day. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds.Saturday 17 MayPossible isolated showers over Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East coast, otherwise fine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds.Sunday 18 MayFine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm with moderate northerly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday morning to midnight Sunday are expected to be up to 2 mm.Monday until WednesdayPossible isolated showers in the far west during Monday, over Kangaroo Island and the southeast districts on Tuesday and Wednesday and also re-developing in the west during Wednesday. Mild to warm with moderate northerly winds, fresh at times in the south, tending southerly in the southwest during Tuesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Thursday.Product IDS10033
