MELBOURNE - May 11/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system will slowly move over Victoria tonight, reaching eastern Bass Strait later on Monday. The high will then slowly track eastwards over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday and Wednesday. A weakening front will enter Victoria during Thursday, reaching central parts of the State by the evening. Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers near western and southern coastal areas. Isolated fog patches in the northeast. Light northwest to southwesterly winds.Monday 12 MayIsolated morning showers near the south Gippsland coast. Morning fog areas then a fine and mostly sunny day to follow. Cool to mild with light winds.Tuesday 13 MayFine after morning fog patches in the north and east. A mild and mainly sunny day with light to moderate northerly winds.Wednesday 14 MayFine after morning fog patches in the east. A mild and mainly sunny day with light to moderate northerly winds.Thursday 15 MayMorning fog patches in the southeast. Fine and mild throughout apart from isolated showers developing in the southwest towards evening.
