Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 10/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough over northeastern New South Wales will move further northeast during Sunday and weaken as a high pressure system moves from the west. This high will move over the southern Tasman Sea early Monday and it is expected to become slow-moving maintaining a ridge across most of the state.
Forecast for the rest of SundayAreas of rain and showers in the northeastern half of the state, mostly clearing from the south during the morning. The chance of afternoon thunderstorms in the northeast. Mostly sunny in the west. North to northwesterly winds in the northeast, with southeast to southwesterly winds extending through the remainder.Monday 12 MayShowers along the coast and adjacent ranges, except for the far south, more frequent along the coastal fringe. Fine and mostly sunny in the west. South to southeasterly winds along the coast, fresh at times, and east to southeasterly winds inland.Tuesday 13 MayIsolated showers on the central and northern coasts and adjacent ranges, tending scattered along the coastal fringe. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Northeast to southeasterly winds, fresh along the northern coast.Wednesday 14 MayIsolated showers on the northern coast and adjacent ranges, scattered at first along the coastal fringe. The chance of morning showers about central parts of the coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere.
