Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 9/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front will move through the western and southeastern New South Wales this afternoon and and evening and through the northeast during Sunday and a high pressure system will move over the southwestern Tasman Sea behind the front on Monday. This high it is expected to move very slowly east over the next few days maintaining a ridge to the northwest of the state.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayRain areas in the west contracting to the central and southeastern parts during the day. Morning fog patches in the northeast. Cloud increasing in the northeast. North to northwesterly winds turning southwesterly in the far southwest.Sunday 11 MayRain areas or showers in the eastern half. Mostly sunny in the west. West to northwesterly winds over the northeast, with southerly winds extending through the remainder.Monday 12 MayShowers along most of the coast and adjacent ranges, except for the far south. Mostly sunny in the west. South to southeasterly winds along the coast, and east to southeasterly winds inland.Tuesday 13 MayShowers along the coast and adjacent ranges. Mostly sunny inland. East to southeast wind, tending northeasterly in the southeast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Saturday.Product IDN10031
