MELBOURNE - May 4/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A deep complex low is located east of Tasmania, moving east. As this low moves further away the next high pressure ridge extends across from the west to be centred to the west of Tasmania for the next several days. This high should direct a southwest to southeast airstream over the state before moving to the southern Tasman Sea later in the week. Forecast for the rest of MondayFine apart from isolated showers over the far southern border late in the day, mostly on the South West Slopes. Morning frost and fog patches about the ranges and upper slopes. Cool west to southwesterly winds.Tuesday 6 MayIsolated showers in the south, mostly about the southern slopes. Showers developing later in the day on the coastal fringe from the Illawarra to the southern parts of the Mid North coast. Fine elsewhere. South to southeast winds.Wednesday 7 MayShowers on the coast north from the Illawarra, mainly right along the coastal fringe. Fine elsewhere. South to southeast winds.Thursday 8 MayShowers near the coast, extending inland north of the Hunter to the adjacent ranges. Fine remainder.
