Weather Situation A high pressure system is moving through Bass Strait and will reach the Tasman Sea on Monday. A strong cold front is expected to cross Victoria on Tuesday. The next high pressure ridge will extend across northern Victoria on Wednesday with another cold front approaching western Victoria late on Thursday. Forecast for the rest of SundayGenerally clear with light winds.Monday 28 AprilFine after isolated morning fog in the east. Cloud increasing from the west. A mild day with moderate to fresh northerly winds.Fire Danger - High in the west.Tuesday 29 AprilAreas of rain over western districts during the early morning, extending to the east in the afternoon.Rain clearing in the north and tending to scattered showers in the south following the change. Isolated thunderstorms in the southwest at night. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, locally reaching gale force over the eastern ranges ahead of a west to southwesterly change extending through western and central districts in the afternoon and evening and the east at night.
