Weather Situation A cold front over western Victoria will move quickly across the State, reaching the far east late afternoon. A high pressure system will pass just to the south of Victoria on Sunday, reaching the Tasman Sea on Monday ahead of a stronger cold front expected to cross Victoria on Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayCool to mild with freshening northerly winds ahead of a southwesterly change in the west during the morning, reaching the far east by late afternoon. Isolated showers, scattered near the change in the south. Showers contracting to the far east by late afternoon.Fire Danger - Low to moderate, reaching high in the southwest.Sunday 27 AprilEarly morning fog and frost patches inland and isolated showers clearing the far east. A cool to mild and mainly sunny day with generally light southerly winds gradually tending easterly during the day.Monday 28 AprilFine over most areas, but cloud increasing from the west with isolated showers possible later in the west. A mild day with moderate to fresh northerly winds.Tuesday 29 AprilAreas of rain developing over western districts during the early morning, extending to the east by early afternoon. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, locally reaching gale force over the eastern ranges ahead of a west to southwesterly change extending through western and central districts by early afternoon and the east by evening.
