Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 15/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system over the southeastern Tasman Sea and ex tropical cyclone Ita to north over the Coral Sea are moving slowly to the southeast and a high pressure system is moving south of Tasmania extending a ridge along New South Wales coast. The ridge is expected to be the dominant feature across the state for the next few days.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers along the coast and adjacent ranges, tending scattered along the central part of the coast. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the northeastern inland. partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds, fresh along the coast. Dangerous surf conditions along the far north coast.Wednesday 16 AprilIsolated showers in the northeast, tending scattered on the coastal fringe. Isolated showers on the central parts of the coast. Morning fog patches in the east. Partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeast winds.Thursday 17 AprilThe chance early showers along the central and northern coastal fringe. Patchy morning fog in the east. Mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southwest winds.Friday 18 AprilIsolated showers in the far southeast. Patchy morning fog in the east. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to southwest winds.Saturday 19 AprilPartly cloudy. Early fog patches in the east. South to southwesterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 am EST Wednesday.Product IDN10031
