Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 12/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure extending across the Bight towards Tasmania will persist through to late next week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayPossible isolated light showers about the southern coasts and ranges and the Nullarbor coast, with possible drizzle in the far southeast. Local early morning fog patches about the southern agricultural area and West Coast district. Warm in the far northeast, mild elsewhere. Light to moderate southerly winds, locally fresh at times near the coasts in the afternoon.Monday 14 AprilPossible isolated light showers about southern and far western coasts and the eastern slopes of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Local early morning fog patches about the southern agricultural area and West Coast district. Warm in the far northeast, mild elsewhere. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds, becoming locally fresh near the coasts.Tuesday 15 AprilPossible isolated light morning showers about the southern and far western coasts. Local early morning fog patches in the Lower South East district. Warm in the far northeast, mild elsewhere. Light to moderate southeasterly winds and local afternoon coastal sea breezes.Wednesday 16 AprilFine. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday to midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm.Thursday until SaturdayFina at first then possible isolated showers developing over the southern agricultural area early Friday, contracting to southern coasts by Saturday. Mild in the south grading to warm inland on Thursday, becoming cooler throughout during the period. Light to moderate northerly winds ahead of a moderate to fresh southerly change during Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
