Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 6/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is moving east of Tasmania extending a ridge to New South Wales north coast. The high will remain slow-moving over the southern Tasman Sea over the next few days. The next trough is expected to move over the west of the state on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers about the northern and central parts of the coast and adjacent ranges, contracting to the north during the day. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early fog patches in the east. East to southeasterly winds near the coast, fresh in the north. East to northeasterly winds inland.Tuesday 8 AprilThe chance of early showers along the northern coast. Isolated showers developing in the southwest. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Early fog patches in the east. Southeast to northeasterly winds near the coast, becoming generally light and variable further inland.Wednesday 9 AprilShowers in the southwest, increasing to rain areas later. Isolated showers developing along the coast southern and central coasts, and adjacent ranges, and the chance of late showers across the southern inland. Fine elsewhere. East to southeasterly winds.Thursday 10 AprilRain areas in the southwest, possible extending to central districts during the day. Isolated showers about the southern and central coasts, and adjacent ranges. Mostly fine across the north.
