Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 22/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak trough over northeast New South Wales extends across the southern and central coastal districts today. This trough will be pushed back to the northeast as a southerly change moves up the coast this afternoon stalling on the Midnorth Coast on Monday. An upper trough will slowly extend across the state over the next few days resulting in a deepening surface trough and continued unsettled weather.
Forecast for the rest of SundayPartly cloudy over the southwest inland. The chance of isolated afternoon showers or thunderstorms elsewhere, mainly about the coastal districts and adjacent ranges. South to southwest winds tending northeast to northwest in the northeast of the state.Monday 24 MarchIsolated showers in the eastern and central parts tending scattered in the northeast with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Partly cloudy in the west. Generally east to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 25 MarchScattered showers in the east tending scattered over the central parts with the chance of thunderstorms in the north. Partly cloudy in the far west. Easterly winds throughout.Wednesday 26 MarchIsolated showers in most districts.
