Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 18/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1024 hPa south of the western Bight, will move east to be centred near Robe late Wednesday morning and over the Tasman Sea on Thursday. A southerly change will move across the west of the State on Thursday and over the remainder on Friday except the far northeast.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayFine apart from the the chance of isolated showers over the Flinders district and south of the pastorals until evening. Mild in the south grading to hot in the north, with mainly moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 19 MarchEarly fog patches over the agricultural area, then a fine, mostly sunny day. Mild in the south grading to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to easterly winds and moderate to fresh coastal sea breezes.Thursday 20 MarchFine apart from early fog patches over the Lower South East. Warm in the south grading to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, ahead of a milder, fresh southerly change developing in the far west.Friday 21 March
Possible isolated showers over the southern agricultural area and western coasts, more likely over the Lower South East district. Possible isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast corner.
Cool to mild in the south grading to hot in the far north. Light to moderate easterly winds in the far northeast, moderate to fresh southerly winds extending over the remainder.
Saturday 22 MarchFine apart from possible isolated showers about western and south central coasts. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the north. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate coastal sea breezes, fresh in the west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday afternoon to midnight Saturday are expected to be up to 2 mm.Sunday until TuesdayPossible isolated showers on Sunday, contracting to southern coasts on Monday, then fine on Tuesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Wednesday.Product IDS10033
