Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 17/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak cold fronts will cross southern Victoria later today. A high pressure system will form over the Bight today then move across southern Victoria later on Wednesday before reaching the Tasman Sea on Thursday. The next cold front will approach western Victoria later on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers, more widespread in the northeast, also along the west and central coasts. Mild to warm with light to moderate westerly winds, fresh at times along the coast.Fire Danger -  Moderate to high.Wednesday 19 MarchFine apart from isolated showers in the south, clearing from the west. Mild to warm with light to moderate southerly winds.Thursday 20 MarchFine apart from morning fog patches. Mild to warm and mainly sunny with light to moderate northerly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Friday 21 MarchIsolated showers developing along the western and central coasts. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible in the northeast. Warm to hot with moderate northerly winds shifting cooler southerly in the southwest.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Tuesday.Product IDV10310
