Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 16/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
Cold fronts will cross southern Victoria during Monday and Tuesday. A high pressure system will form over the Bight on Tuesday then move across southern Victoria later on Wednesday before reaching the Tasman Sea on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers, scattered at first near the coast and ranges, contracting to the southwest tonight. Isolated thunderstorms possible over the southeast at first. Partly cloudy with moderate to fresh west to northwesterly winds.Monday 17 MarchIsolated showers, scattered in parts of the southwest and central areas, although fine over East Gippsland. Mild with light to moderate west to northwesterly winds, fresh at times near the coast.Fire Danger -  Moderate to HighTuesday 18 MarchIsolated showers, scattered in parts of the southwest and central areas, although fine over East Gippsland. Mild with light to moderate westerly winds, fresh at times along the coast.Wednesday 19 MarchFine in the north. Isolated showers in the south contracting to East Gippsland during the afternoon. Mild with light to moderate southerly winds.Thursday 20 MarchFine. A mild to warm and mainly sunny day with a light wind tending northerly and afternoon coastal seabreezes.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Monday.Product IDV10310
