Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 12/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front and associated trough will move across southern and central New South Wales into Thursday. The trough will weaken during Friday as another cold cold front/trough system approaches from the west. This system is expected to reach the northeast of the state on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayThe chance of showers and thunderstorms in southern and central parts. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northeast to northwesterly winds, with a southerly change moving through southern and central districts.Thursday 13 MarchPartly cloudy in the southwest. The chance of showers or thunderstorms elsewhere, more likely over the central ranges and coastal districts. Northeast to southeasterly winds in the east, tending light and variable further inland.Friday 14 MarchPartly cloudy in the west and southwest. The chance of showers or thunderstorms elsewhere, more likely about the slopes and plains. Northeast to southeasterly winds in the east, tending light and variable further inland.Saturday 15 MarchIsolated showers, mainly in the south. The chance of thunderstorms in the south. Northwest to northeasterly winds, tending southwest in the far southwest.Sunday 16 MarchIsolated showers tending scattered over the southern ranges and slopes. Chance of thunderstorms in the east and northeast.
