Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 11/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front will move across southern New South Wales during Wednesday and a low pressure trough will develop behind it over the western parts. The trough will weaken during Friday as another cold cold front/trough system approaches from the west. This system is expected to reach the northeast of the state on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayPartly cloudy in the north with isolated showers near the coast. The chance of showers and thunderstorms in southern and central parts, more likely in the afternoon in the southeast. Northeast to northwesterly winds, with a southerly change moving through southern and central districts.Thursday 13 MarchPartly cloudy in the southwest in the northeastern inland. The chance of showers or thunderstorms elsewhere, more likely on the southern half of the coast and adjacent ranges. Northeast to southeasterly winds in the east, tending light and variable further inland.Friday 14 MarchPartly cloudy in the southwest in the northeastern inland. The chance of showers or thunderstorms elsewhere, more likely near the central coast. Northeast to southeasterly winds in the east, tending light and variable further inland.Saturday 15 MarchPartly cloudy in the northern inland.
