MELBOURNE - Mar 9/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high slow-moving pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge to northwestern New South Wales while an upper trough moves through the southeast. On Wednesday a surface low pressure trough will develop over the west of the state and then it is expected to move over the central parts during Thursday. Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers in the southeast with the chance of thunderstorms. Isolated showers on the north coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds.Monday 10 MarchIsolated showers coast and adjacent ranges, clearing from the south early. The chance of thunderstorms on central coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 11 MarchIsolated showers on the north coast and central coasts and the chance of late showers in the far southwest. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northwest to northeasterly winds.Wednesday 12 MarchIsolated showers in the south tending scattered in the far southeast and isolated showers on the north coast. The chance of thunderstorms in the far southeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
