Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 16/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1016 hPa near Mount Gambier will move eastwards ahead of a weak front moving over Kangaroo Island this evening. More significant cold fronts will move over the south of the State on Tuesday and Wednesday and a high will ridge in south of the Bight on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayPossible isolated showers developing about southern and western coasts in the afternoon and evening. Mild in the south, grading to warm in the north with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 18 FebruaryIsolated showers near the coasts. Mild in the south, grading to warm in the north with moderate to fresh south to southwest winds.Wednesday 19 FebruaryIsolated showers over the west coast and agricultural area, more likely about the southern agricultural area and increasing to scattered about the Lower South East. Cool to mild in the south and mild to warm in the north. Moderate to fresh south to southwest winds.Thursday 20 FebruaryIsolated showers about western, southern and gulf coasts. Moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh at times. Cool to mild in the south, mild to warm in the north. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday morning to midnight Thursday are expected to be up to 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm about southern coasts.Friday until SundayPossible isolated light showers about western and southern coasts, clearing by Friday afternoon, then fine throughout apart from isolated showers developing in the northeast on Saturday and Sunday. Moderate southwest to southeast winds, becoming east to southeasterly on Sunday. Cool to mild in the south, mild to warm in the north, becoming warm to hot throughout on Sunday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
