Weather Situation A low pressure trough stalls over the northeast of the state while a high pressure ridge extends over the western Tasman Sea into Tuesday. The next trough is expected to cross the state during Tuesday and Wednesday. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers in the northeast tending scattered about the Northern Tablelands and Midnorth Coast. The chance of thunderstorms in the far north and northeastern inland. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Mainly southeast to southwesterly winds.Tuesday 18 FebruaryPartly cloudy in the south and in northwestern inland. Showers and possible thunderstorms in the remainder. Northerly winds tending, tending west to southwesterly in the west and southeast.Wednesday 19 FebruaryShowers and possible thunderstorms in the northeast and isolated showers on the south coast.
